An intensive workshop produced by Invisible Photographer Asia (IPA) and mentored by 2 leading contemporary photographers Ian Teh (Malaysia/UK) and Kosuke Okahara (Japan).
This 4 day workshop, part of the inaugural IPA Photo Books Show 2013, is for photographers working on photo projects or a body of work that they wish to visualize and publish into a photo book. Participants will gain insights and learnings from mentors Ian and Kosuke on working on long-term projects right through to conceiving, editing and designing their work for the printed format. Participants will finally make their own hand-made photo book dummies with Epson K3 Ink prints on Epson Matte Art fine stock provided by Epson Singapore, and Japanese Washi Paper provided by Awagami Factory.
- Participants are required to bring a project or body of work with approximately 30-50 images.
- Participants are required to bring PRINTS (Approx. 4R/4" x 6" size) and JPG files of their images for review, editing and book dummy printing.
- A laptop or mobile computer with photo editing software is also required for the workshop.
