It isn't just that easy, I went through it. Personality plays a big part in the game. If you are very technical I guess the transition is harder than for someone that just wants to express him or her. What made me choose film and why.. Don't expect the usual but prepare for the unusual.
The uncertain feel of what comes next, was the biggest problem. How will my photos turn out? Will the quality be good enough? What if something goes wrong? Isn't it expensive? Why should I even shoot film?
Too many questions that I had to answer myself to just start shooting models on film. I shot film before, just for quick snapshots but they weren't a big deal. Things like Framed Network's Film Episodes showed me that film is and still used in professional purposes.
Then started telling my friends that in fact I was going to transfer to film photography. At first, they were skeptical. By trying to convince them why, always reminded me to the advantages of film and keep telling myself that's what I wanted.
