The Sigma 50mm 1.4 ART could have had two reviews and I couldn’t decide which was better. So here is both
Review 1: Is this lens really as good as they say? YES! You will want this badly, it’s awesome. The End.
Review 2: I could bore you with a number of facts, figures, sharpness tests and static studio shots but you don’t need this. I find it funny every time I have seen some one use this and zoom in to an image on the back of a screen turn to me with a half smile, half surprised expression and say “wow that really is sharp”. It seems as if everyone thinks Sigma released this on April 1st and with a ton of reviews out there to back up the sharpness findings I won’t waste your time repeating how sharp this lens is. In saying that I will have a short section on sharpness so this article can squeeze in to the stereotypical genre of review. So here is a real world review that is easy to comprehend.
